Quick answer

Book a fixed-date ticket if your dates are firm, and the open-date ticket if they are not. Klook sells both for Ocean Park, and the open-date ticket is valid for 180 days. Neither can be cancelled once booked, so the date question is the main decision. Add Ocean FasTrack only if you want priority lanes at the rides.

The packages on offer

The Klook page for Ocean Park lists several packages: fixed-date adult admission, an open-date admission ticket valid for 180 days, admission with Ocean FasTrack, and a child admission option. Each package page states its own terms, so read the one you choose rather than assuming. The one rule that applies to all of them is the headline: Klook tickets for this park cannot be cancelled once booked. That is why the date decision matters more than the price decision.

Fixed date, for firm plans

A fixed-date ticket is for one chosen day. It suits visitors whose flights, hotels and tours are already booked and who know which day they will spend at the park. Before you pick the day, open the park's calendar page: the park has rest days and may change its hours, and a ticket for a closed day will not help you. If the plan is firm, the fixed-date ticket is the simplest package and usually the one with the lowest fare. Keep a screenshot of the date you chose, since a mistaken date cannot be undone once the ticket is issued.

Open date, for plans that might move

The open-date ticket is valid for 180 days, so you can book without choosing the visit day. The park's own FAQ says its admission ticket is valid for 180 days from the date of purchase, and the Klook package page states the terms of the voucher you actually buy. It suits visitors whose week depends on the weather, on a conference, or on a flight that might shift. It is also a sensible choice if you want to book early and choose a quiet weekday later.

Adults, children and the age bands

The park's FAQ sets its age bands: adult from 12, child from 3 to 11, and children under 3 free. Klook sells a separate child admission option, and its page shows the age rules that apply to the voucher. Check them against the youngest member of your group before you pay, because a ticket bought for the wrong age band cannot be cancelled. The park lists children under 3 as free, and the Klook package page shows whether a voucher is needed for a baby.

Adding Ocean FasTrack

Ocean FasTrack is a priority-lane pass that Klook sells as a package with admission. It is a separate decision from fixed or open date, and our FasTrack guide explains when it is worth the extra. If you are unsure, buy plain admission now. The park sells FasTrack at its own site too, and on the day the queue-time panel will show you how long the lines are. A plain ticket plus the park's own queue estimates is a perfectly good plan for many visitors.

What the ticket does not include

Ocean Park admission is not a ticket for Water World, the separate water park next door, which charges its own admission according to Wikipedia. Rides that need a priority lane, locker hire, stroller hire, parking and food are also extra. Plan a small daily budget for them, and keep the voucher email where you can find it on the day. The booking page on Klook is the place to read the exact inclusions of the package you choose.

Ride closures and refunds

Whatever package you buy, rides and exhibits can close for repair, maintenance or weather. The park's FAQ states that it will not consider a refund, partial or full, because of such a ride suspension or an attraction closure. Combined with Klook's non-cancellable terms, that means the sensible protection is to leave yourself a spare day if your trip allows, and to use an open-date ticket if you can.

Who this isn't for

The open-date ticket is not for visitors who know their day, because it adds nothing and may cost slightly more than the fixed-date ticket. Neither package is a good fit for anyone who is still deciding whether to visit this park or another. And no package here suits visitors who expect to cancel for free, since none of them allows it.
